Last May we introduced you all to the band Baula who had released their debut single 'Don't Bother'. The Swedish / Icelandic duo were formed in 2015, played off venue gigs at Airwaves festival and at the time had released just that one single, just under 3 minutes of melancholy pop with the highlight being a lovely well written piano line.
The good news is that they're back with a new single entitled 'Just Like Yesterday', and what I like about this track is that it is still has a distinct Baula sound, but this time the track is led by guitar, which takes the song in a different direction. The melancholy vocals remain, it has that laid back feel and there is a lovely melody that drifts through the song. Listen to it here:
