We inadvertently neglected Finland slightly in September so we'll try to rectify that in October, starting with a short feature on 'Club De Lay', who released their debut EP earlier this year, but are already back with a new single entitled 'Still Making Noise'.
'Club De Lay' are a Lahti / Helsinki 5 piece band who write Indie Pop Rock music with catchy tunes, and for regular readers they'll probably be of some attraction if you like bands like The Stillwalkers, or for non regulars maybe the likes of Athlete. The new single 'Still Making Noise' was released just 2 weeks ago, and it's a really good listen. Opening with laid back guitar and slightly dreamy melody, it then builds into a huge climactic chorus, worthy of any stage. I like the ambition of this band in writing such big Pop Rock songs, along with their ability to simply write good tunes.

Their previous EP release was called' Loviisankatu', released in the Spring, it's been happily sitting on our playlist all week and that's definitely still worth checking out if you have the chance.
