New signings to Adrian Records, Spunsugar are our latest ‘Holiday Listening’ recommendation, courtesy of a really impressive track ‘Run’.
They‘re a 3 piece Gothic Dream Pop band from Sweden, described as ”propulsive goth-rock carried on a dream-pop zephyr - fleeing the shadows of an Old Testament upbringing in small-town Sweden. Restless, free, ephemeral”.
Well there you go. They’ve already been compared to the likes of Curve (excellent, often mentioned on here) and Slowdive. These guys definitely have something about them.
