Coldwave 🇦🇺 - 'The Ants / Italia 06' (single) and UK Tour!

Just a very quick mention of some great live dates hitting over the next week, thanks to Australian band Coldwave, and a recommendation to check out their most recent (late 2024) double single 'The Ants' and 'Italia 06'.
The logistics of making a UK Tour work is staggering complicated, so huge credit to the band, who arrive at one of my favourite Indie venues The Castle Hotel in Manchester tonight, Thursday 27th Feb.
After that the band head off to Glasgow, Leeds, Southampton, London, Brighton, London again (supporting the brilliant Pom Poko) and they finish at another of our favourite small venues, the Hare & Hounds 2 in Kings Heath, Birmingham.
Their music meanwhile is simply bursting with energy and infectious enthusiasm, a complexity in the sound thanks to the 6 members, and some quite brilliant brass contributions, which takes the music in a completely different direction. I like both 'The Ants' and 'Italia 06' very much, whether I'll get to see any of them tonight in Manchester does very much depend if I can find out if stage times fit in with my unhelpfully early last train home.
