This one will definitely wake you up. It comes courtesy of a band we've featured a few times, The Entrepreneurs, who've released 2 Albums, a couple of excellent EPs ('Tourism' and 'Tony Rominger') and who've developed a reputation for being one of the most exciting live bands in Denmark, raw and definitely pretty noisy.
They've announced their 3rd album on the 26th April entitled 'Sky Forever', and ahead of that a single was released on Friday entitled 'Search for No One', and apparently it's the 'hardest hitting' track on the album.
There's a couple of things that really stand-out here. Firstly the contrasts are just phenomenal, from languid melodic sections through to the fiersome screamed chorus, I can't quite recollect anything like it. Secondly again this band always have this ability to make things that feel that little bit uncomfortable, 'on the edge of your seat'., yet really listenable too. This isn't music to rock back on your favourite armchair on a Sunday night with a finest Scotch.
It would be great if The Entrepreneurs made it to the UK for some gigs, I think I need to hear that live experience to really appreciate the power of the band. And I'm looking forward to the album obviously.
