We should have between 5-10 features this week partly thanks to Harri finally returning from Tuvalu, and which hopefully will include Phogg, Girl Scout, Vilde Bye, The Dahmers and one of our favourite bands, Norwegian duo Misty Coast.

That gives us the perfect excuse to give a quick mention to this years Indiefjord festival, which takes place on 11th and 12th July 2026. It is the most astonishing festival, which you can read about here, and they've hosted some of our favourite bands over the years, including Mammoth Penguins, The Natvral, The Wit, and many many more.

If you want to read a little more about Indiefjord, then Silja from the festival did a Special Interview with us in 2023.

And so far they've announced 3 bands that are playing at Indiefjord 2026. The first is Misty Coast themselves, who not only write beautiful music, but showed what lovely people they are when they did a quick interview with us in 2022, which you can read here.

Then they announced Veps, another of our favourite bands, who also showed what lovely people they are (there’s a pattern right?) with a quick interview before their UK dates in 2022.

Finally a third Norwegian band Selma have been booked to play, and the fact we've never featured or interviewed them is a staggeringly miss on our part. We'll try and remedy that when they next release something.

Misty Coast, as well as some of our favourite new releases, are included on the Nordic Indie Playlist 2026, which you find above.
